HP Toys and FISM™ tie up
in a prestigious partnership
London, 01 June 2007 – FISM™ and HP Toys (Hanky-Panky Toys Group) are pleased to announce the signing of a prestigious worldwide partnership. The 3-year deal, which includes a licensing agreement, allows Hanky-Panky Magic Toys to design and produce exclusive magic toy sets for the International Federation of Magic Societies™ (FISM™), its events and the like of other FISM™ partners. The agreement grants the magic toys manufacturer the rights to use the official designation marks Official Partner and Official Magic Toys Manufacturer of FISM™ and its events such as the World Championships of Magic™.
Since 2003, FISM™ has moved to a more professional organisation in order to better fulfil its goals and enhance the magic art worldwide. Part of this move was the re-branding of the Federation, which paved the way to signing its first multi-year partnership for the World Championships of Magic™ with Slovglass Poltar, a Slovak crystal manufacturer that produced the new World Championships of Magic™ Trophy and its replicas. Furthermore and for the first time ever, the World Championships of Magic™ 2006 is now a worldwide distributed TV show and due to be aired in a total of 75 countries.
Hanky-Panky Toys Group has produced tens of millions of magic toys boxes for children’s enjoyment since 1961. Many famous magicians and world champions started their careers in magic after receiving a Hanky Panky magic set as a child. HP Toys has been leading the way with innovative ideas for children and has developed and updated existing magical principles to make magic stay in vogue with the new generations. HP Toys has also led the way in developing brands of magic. At the World Championships of Magic™ in 2003, it developed a Merlin Magic box which was recognised as one of the finest magic boxes for children.
